Charity Bank
Charity Bank is unique: we’re the only regulated bank in the UK that is also a registered general charity.
We use our depositors’ money only to lend to organisations with a charitable purpose, that may not be able to access finance on terms they can afford, if at all.
Through them, we have touched the lives of at least three million people in communities across the UK and beyond.
Charity Bank in the North
In 2007 we set up our first ever regional office, in the heart of Leeds, with support from regional development agency Yorkshire Forward.
Charity Bank in the North provide loan finance and a programme of business support to voluntary organisations, social enterprises and charities in the Yorkshire / Humber region.
The Yorkshire Deposit Bond is an account for individuals and organisations that want to use their savings to fund borrowers in this region.
